Corrine Day is a British fashion photographer perhaps most famous for her photographs of Kate Moss. Her raw and intimate fashion shoots and portraits shaped fashion photography in the 90s, opening the industry to countless new photographers, stylists and designers.
Unlike most fashion photographers, Day sought to portray people as they were: wonderfully imperfect. Her photos don't try to bend the truth but instead reveal.
Day was diagnosed with brain cancer in 1996. Outliving her doctor's prognosis by six years, Corrine Day passed away in August of 2010. Her photographs continue to shape the work of young artists.
