Nowness has just released a trailer for the Hudson River Project, a documentary film by James Bowthorpe and Antony Crook. The film documents the journey of a Kayak made from recycled material found around New York City.
In talking about the project, Bowthorpe says, “We see cities as something separate from the wilderness, but the former evolved from the latter. I’m interested in the idea of how we set up these diametrically opposed state of minds."
The trailer (and the film) features a soundtrack by Scottish band, Mogwai.
