Sarah Polley, Canada's indie darling, has directed a new film Take This Waltz. The film stars Michelle Williams, Seth Rogan, Sarah Silverman and Luke Kirby. The film follows Margot (Williams) as she is torn between her husband (Rogan) whom she is happily married to and her neighbour (Kirby), whom she is instantly attracted to.
If you saw Away From Her, Polley's last film, you likely know that she has a sensitivity and an emotional vibrancy that is rare for any director, let alone one of her youth. Take This Waltz promises to be an intimate portrait of marriage, intimacy and love, both new and old.
